Katie Marshall is an award-winning 18 year old Soprano. She is an exciting young artist who captivates audiences with her pure tone and artistry. She is at home performing classical, contemporary and musical theatre works and has performed in lead roles of musical theatre productions, including West Side Story and Beauty and the Beast.
She is a Classic BRIT Award nominee (2018), has performed at the O2, sung on Warner Music’s ‘Christmas at Downton Abbey’ Album with the Downton Abbey singer and actor, Julian Ovenden, duetted with the King’s singers’ Paul Phoenix, toured with G4, André Rieu’s Soprano Mirusia Louwerse and many others.
She supports and performs around the country for many charities, including Variety GB (at the Television and Radio Industries Club events) and has been made an Ambassador for the Prince’s Trust, Born Free Foundation, Children’s Air Ambulance and Sponsor Stars.
She has recorded 2 albums with the VOCES8 musical director, Barnaby Smith. Her new Album (Voice Divine), recorded with the Kent Sinfonia Orchestra, was mastered at Abbey Road Studios by Simon Gibson who also remastered the complete studio recordings of Maria Callas.
Jackie has performed from the West Coast of Scotland to the West End of London. In London she has worked with the National Theatre, the Young Vic, the Savoy, the Duke of Yorks to name a few. Plays include: Peribanez, Oh What A Lovely War!, After Mrs Rochester, When We Are Married, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie.
Television credits include: Dr Finlay, Head Over Heels, Ultimate Force, Midsummer Murders, Casualty, Holby City, EastEnders, Coronation Street.
As a singer, Jackie has been performing for over 20 years. She recently finished a Scottish tour of the musical revue “Broadway and Beyond” in which she performed and directed and had great success with a tour of Rogers and Hammerstein “The Shows, The Story”. She performs regularly up in Scotland with her father, baritone Peter Morrison.
Jackie has just come back from a stint in Toronto working with Sting on his musical The Last Ship. It will be continuing next year in LA, San Francisco and London.
Aleksandra started her musical education in Warsaw, Poland. She works regularly with singers on both song and opera repertoire; her collaboration with Damian Ganclarski resulted in her becoming a winner of the prestigious Brenda Webb Accompanist Prize in association with the Richard Lewis Award. She is invited to accompany performers at competitions and festivals such as the Two Moors Festival, Cambridge Strings Academy, Cambridge Summer Music Festival and many others. Aleksandra is now a Live Music Now musician.
